For this natural face scrub I used 2 teaspoons of dried lavender flowers mixed with 1/4 brown sugar ( I don’t usually have white sugar in the house but you can use it instead of brown sugar, your choice). I also remembered I had some natural vanilla extract, so I added 1 teaspoon of that, 1 teaspoon of jojoba oil ( you can also use alomond or grapeseed oil as well) and 1 tablespoon of raw honey.
Stir, crush and press everything together until you have a nice mixture. Gently massage your face with it in circular motions, on clean face. Avoid your eye and lips area.After a couple a minutes, wash your face with warm to cold water, par your face dry. Use a light moisturizer after this scrub because the oils in the mixture hydrate and illuminate the skin naturally.
I read this recipe a while ago and remembered to buy the ingredients and try it out. You can easily find the ingredients at a local natural/organic farmaceutical store.

Exfoliating mask ingredients:
Applying a mixture of mashed apple, honey, rose water and oatmeal can act as a great exfoliating mask on your skin.
Orange: Rich in vitamin C that improves skin texture. Like apples, orange too contains collagen that slows skin aging process. Rub the insides of orange on your skin to tighten the skin. I recently read this recipe on a blog on how to make your bath time more pleasant without using foam, which can irritate or dry out your skin. It involves green tea and/or detox tea which you can buy at a local store with natural and organic products. It’s really easy to prepare for this relaxing bath. While you’re there, why not make a cinnamon and nutmeg face mask and just wait 20 min and then you can cleanse out.
Just infuse 4-7 bags of green/detox tea the next time you take a hot bath. The herbs will soothe your skin and you can still get many of the benefits even if you’re not a big tea drinking fan. 🙂
